Product Review! + Back in the scene! 🎉🎊🎉

Body Shop Vitamin E moisture cream and catching up!

Hellooo my lovelies! 💖 I have been gone a long time! So i deleted my last beauty blog and erased every proof of ever existing! (J.k. i was still going to school). I had a huge load of studies on my head plus dealing with anxiety and depression. I wont lie it was a hellish 3 years but it's all much better now!
I decided it was time to get back into the game and just do what i enjoyed doing. Life happens and it tries to break you down but you have hold onto the things that give you hope and make them your strength. So I'm back in the beauty-blogsphere! Lets dive right into it.

The Body Shop Vitamin E moisture cream. Okay you probably know three in five ladies who use this product by bodyshop amiright? It has been raved about countless times on the biggest beauty blogs and has positive reviews dating back to B.C. No I'm just kidding but it has been around for a long time and been on the bestsellers list for as long as i can remember. Now lets talk about Vitamin E for a moment here shall we? My background in medicine allows me to look at beauty products from a different perspective and I'll be glad to share it with you. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant commonly used as *drum roll please* fish oil tablets. Now while i have used gel based Vitamin E on my face too, that is an entirely different topic. I need to remind myself to do a comparative review of these two.

Since i belong to the younger age group I thought I'd divulge my two cents about this product. While I'm too young to have wrinkles or other severe skin issues requiring antioxidants at the moment, i do suffer from dull, dry skin and have tiny tiny adult acne. I also have a sensitive skin that tends to get oily whenever it wishes. It's got a mind of it's own idk. The best i can do is keep it hydrated and supple with a moisturizer. And the Vita E moisture cream did a pretty good job of it. Not only did i have no allergic reactions to it, it also had a mild floral smell that did not irritate my skin/nose in any way. I usually put it on after a shower before going to bed or just after washing my face before bed. The reason i wash my face first is that since its a 'moisture' cream with fat-based ingredients it's not a good idea to slap on a layer on your face and make your skin produce sebum and clogged pores. Plus always sleep with a clean face ladies..it goes a long way.

Creamy but not oily!
I believe there is also a night moisturizer in the Vitamin E range but for my oil producing skin this was enough. It absorbs extremely well and leaves no tint to your skin. And OHMYGOD when you wake up next morning your face will be glowing like an angel. I was so surprised to see the results the very first time i used this and i can only imagine what a big help it can be if you are dealing with fine lines and wrinkles. It toned my skin with gradual use, brightened it up and gave it a healthy pink tinge. It is a good moisturizer for daily use although let me tell you it has no effect on reducing acne. But then it never made a claim to so I'm happy with the results!

After this moisturizer proved to be such a success i went out and bought a Vitamin E cream from Boots and Vitamin E gel from my local drugstore just to see if i could get a similar result at a lesser price teehee! 😆 But those are the subjects of another post. For now go break your accounts on this cream, it retails for £12 for 50 ml. Your skin will thank you!

I give it 💋💋💋💋💋/5

Xoxo

*Full Disclosure: I bought this product myself and these are unadulterated, 100% honest reviews. Xoxo.
